Recently, there have been an endless stream of fraud cases, and the fraud methods have also been constantly updated. Senior Lin Shih-chun, an outstanding graduate of our college and also an honorary instructor of our college, is currently serving as the Director of Compliance at Taiwan Life Insurance. In order to allow his juniors to take precautions before they happen, with the help of Senior Shih-chun, our college has collaborated with Taiwan Life Insurance to organize an "Anti-Fraud Promotion Lecture."

On December 12, Taiwan Life Insurance and prosecutors came to our court to hold a financial fraud prevention lecture. Taiwan Life Insurance General Manager Zhuang Zhongqing shared his family's experience of being defrauded by text messages of fines, and reminded students that they must understand the latest fraud methods and anti-fraud skills in order to protect themselves and help their relatives and friends not be defrauded. General Manager Zhuang hopes that more people will become anti-fraud ambassadors so that fraud can truly disappear from Taiwan.

"Prosecutors can also be defrauded, so be sure to call the 165 hotline!" Zheng Yu, a prosecutor at the New Taipei District Prosecutors Office, revealed that he was almost defrauded by a fake electricity bill, and reminded students that if they are asked to obtain personal information, provide an account number, or transfer money, they should not panic, and calling 165 first to verify is the way to prevent fraud. Prosecutor Zheng enumerated the three situations in which college students are most likely to be deceived, including investment fraud, love and compensated dating fraud, and phishing fraud. In addition, fake websites and fake letters are also omnipresent. You must be careful again and again and do not rely on your legal knowledge to think that you will not be defrauded, because many victims are highly educated. Prosecutor Zheng Yu also conducted a pop quiz with the students, staging a university version of the Million Primary School, and everyone enthusiastically answered all the questions and gave All Pass.

Dean Hou Yuehong and Department Head Guo Dawei also affirmed that enterprises, prosecutors and police have joined hands to root in anti-fraud education and help students stay away from fraud traps. They hope that through everyone's joint cooperation, the stability of campus and social life can be maintained.
