Jones Day LLP invites outstanding master's students to participate in the overseas internship program. Please read the letter (click) for relevant information and application eligibility requirements.
Selected explanation:
1. Jones Day, an international law firm, provides internship opportunities for graduate students from National Taiwan University and National Chengchi University to the United States every year. This year, we have invited graduate students from our department and National Yang-Ming Chiao Tung University to participate in the selection. Please actively seize this rare opportunity!
2. Selection plan schedule
(Monday) 2/20 (Thursday) 12:00~13:30: Jones Day LLP will hold an information session at our school. The event will be registered online (deadline 2/18, please click). Lunch will be provided for the first 20 students who register.
Briefing session: February 20, 2015 (Thursday) from 12:00 noon
Location: Room 413R, Law Building, Sanxia Campus, National Taipei University
*This event will be held both in person and via video. Those who are unable to attend in person on the day are welcome to participate via video (video will start at 11:50 am on 2/20): Please click here (No prior registration is required for video participation, but student ID and name must be provided when joining on the day)
Registration period: From now until February 18, 2015. Only students of the college are allowed to register. Graduate students and seniors are given priority. Lunch will be provided to the first 20 successful applicants.
*After the registration deadline, the assistant will email you to inform you if you are one of the "first 20 applicants"
* Check-in and lunch will be available at 11:50am on the day. Those who fail to check-in before 12:10pm will not be able to reserve seats or lunch.
(2) Application period for selection: extended to March 2.
(3) Selection time: 3/6 (Thursday) at noon. At that time, no more than 3 students will be recommended to Jones Day International Law Firm.
(Thursday) 3/10~3/14: Jones Day LLP will select students from the recommended students of various institutions to participate in the second phase, and will tentatively conduct interviews at the firm on March 18.
